Key Knowledge and Skills to be Acquired:

Understanding the structure of government, separation of powers, and citizens’ rights.

Foundational knowledge of crimes, defenses, punishment, and the legal processes in criminal justice.

Principles governing agreements, obligations, breach of contract, and remedies.

Basics of business law, company structures, corporate governance, and commercial transactions

Understanding civil wrongs, liabilities, negligence, and compensation.

Knowledge of ownership, title, land transactions, leases, and property rights.

Requirements

Secondary school or Statement with 5 O' level Credit or better and that should include Maths,English, Science or Biology and any other two subjects.

Course description

The Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) is an undergraduate programme designed to provide students with a strong foundation in legal principles, legal systems, and the administration of justice. This programme equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies needed to understand, interpret, and apply the law across a wide range of contexts.
The curriculum combines theoretical learning, practical training, and ethical development, preparing graduates for roles in legal practice, government, corporate institutions, human rights organizations, and further academic or professional legal studies.
