Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education (History and Geography)

Key Knowledge and Skills to be Acquired:

Students gain deep understanding of historical events, political developments, cultural studies, physical geography, human geography, and environmental systems to teach effectively at the secondary school level.

Learners acquire skills in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and learner-centered instructional strategies tailored to secondary education.

Students develop the ability to conduct research, analyze historical and geographical data, interpret maps, charts, and statistical information, and encourage critical thinking among learners.

Requirements

Secondary school or Statement with 5 O' level Credit or better and that should include Maths,English, Science or Biology and any other two subjects.

Course description

The Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education (History and Geography) is a professional program designed to prepare competent teachers for secondary schools with specialization in History and Geography.
