ARTS & CULTURE

It’s our firm belief at Dmi St. Eugene University, that to enhance the skills of our students, they must be provided with opportunities to explore their creativity. Cultural programs are organized several times during the year by our university to engage all students into cultural events.

STUDENT AFFAIRS

All activity related to extracurricular programs, forums, clubs, community service, and entrepreneurship cell and students council are managed by the student affairs department. Dean of Students and Counselors are available to guide the students and redress their personal issues.

PUBLIC SERVICES

Workshops, conferences and seminars are organized by all the departments to inculcate the latest developments in different fields. DMISEU for students to engage in service to the community – through healthcare camps, blood donation and working with schools for the underprivileged.

CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

The clubs are managed by student club office and counselors are available to guide students – bearers thus providing them an opportunity to develop their leadership skills. Staff-Coordinators closely guide the students in the club activities and help them perform well. Students earn special care.

DMI landed in Republic of Zambia on the invitation of the Zambian Episcopal Conference and the Late Medardo J. Mazombwe, Archbishop of Lusaka. DMI – St.Eugene University started functioning in 2007, from Archbishop Medardo J.Mazombwe Campus, at Woodlands. The Founder Chancellor Rev. Fr. Dr. J. Emmanuel Arulraj, named the University after Saint Eugene De Mazenod, the Founder of Oblates of Mary Immaculate, (OMI).

INSTITUTE OF VIRTUAL & DISTANCE LEARNING

The University established IVDL in the Year 2014. This Institute was established to answer the need of the country and serve the nation in building its capacity in science and mathematics education. This institute served as a platform for demonstrating new technology- VIRTUAL TEACHING. IVDL has 10 Provincial centers throughout Zambia. They are located are every provincial capital or important towns. IVDL is Unique, since it is the only one in Zambia which telecasts its programme live in virtual mode. It offers in-service and pre-service programmes. The fast track programme is a boon for the in-service teachers in Zambia.
