The DMI-St. Eugene University School of Health Sciences is recognized locally and internationally for its excellence in educating and training health care professionals at international standards. It is affiliated to and registered with the Higher Education Authority (HEA), Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), TEVETA, and other relevant professional bodies.

The school is committed to ensuring that our graduates are competent, responsible, passionate and holistic healthcare professionals. The School offers learners a preferred experience; innovative methods of training with a focus on problem-based education complemented by appropriate facilities including our state-of-the-art teaching venues, skills training laboratories, ICT facilities and, physical and online library access. The Research Department of the School of Health Science helps the students and faculty to acquire research skills through various projects, case studies, scientific surveys, laboratory experiments, field research, community service, etc. This enhances the capacity building of students and faculty members in research and publication.

We currently offer the following programs:

Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition (4 years)

Diploma in Food and Nutrition (3 years)

Diploma in Clinical Medical Sciences (General) (3 years)

Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences (3 years)

Diploma in Registered Nursing (3 years)

Diploma in Physiotherapy (3 years)
